Safety Nets

A safety net is a device used to minimize fall hazards in construction sites and other work areas where nets are required to prevent fall hazards.

They are one of three safety solutions stipulated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in response to fall hazards including guard rails and personal fall arrest systems.

Falls are the main cause of death on construction sites and so OSHA has set regulations for employers to follow to protect workers. Safety Nets are made with various types of mesh netting, each with their own cord diameters, mesh sizes, and strengths. Safety nets help prevent imminent or actual hazardous situations from developing into major incidents or even accidents.
